Super excited for the upcoming re-launch – end of summer 2020, of The Toy Foundation site. Our team handed files off to this amazing non-profit who serves children and families 365 days a year with the gift of play.
A little bit about this amazing .org. The Toy Foundation (TTF) is a 501c3 children’s charity whose mission is to provide joy and comfort, enhance wellbeing, and support learning for vulnerable children, families, and communities, through the experience of play and toys.
The Toy Foundation’s signature program, The Toy Bank, is supported by the toy industry, including toy manufacturers, retailers, distributors, and licensors.
They have provided over $200 MILLION in brand new toys (an enormous amount of toys!!!), to more than 26 million children around the globe!
The stress and trauma of military life, foster care, poverty, cancer treatments, and the aftermath of natural disasters have profound effects on children’s emotional frame of mind. A toy reminds them that someone out there cares about them, and gives hope and promise.
